A break-away group congregated at the home of the current Portuguese PM, Pedro Passos Coelho and tried to occupy his house but were met with equal resistance by a contingent of 30 riot police that used batons to disperse the angry crowd. It is important to note that moral at the lower ranks in the Portuguese police force are at a very low level and they are feeling the worst of the economic crisis and austerity imposed by the troika, IMF and ECB.
